The company was sold to satellite internet ISP Dish as part of an FCC ruling on the T-Mobile Sprint acquisition . Boost may be moving over to AT & T soon ( while Dish builds out its own network ) as its owner has raised concerns about the quality of T-Mobile ’ s network support following the acquisition . Boost ’ s 4 million pay-as-you-go customers are heavily skewed towards the affordability focused , big brandcynical youth demographic .
