Jean-François Fallacher has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Eutelsat Group, marking a significant shift as the company integrates with the wider telecoms sector. Formerly CEO of Orange France, he brings extensive leadership experience across major European markets. His arrival comes as Eutelsat completes its merger with OneWeb, forming the only operator with both GEO and LEO satellite constellations. The company says his appointment will help with“ fully aligning Eutelsat with the telecom ecosystem”. Fallacher’ s telecom expertise is expected to transform Eutelsat into a fully integrated connectivity provider and accelerate the convergence of satellite and terrestrial communications.
